Hey...That's a Little Creepy

The other day I logged on to StatCounter.com to see how many people have hit my blog, where they came from, and how they got there. StatCounter is free tracking service that will tell its users some good information about who visits your site. One of the nice pieces of informaiton it provides is how the visitor came to your site. That is, if they performed a search through Yahoo or Google, it will tell you what they were searching for - the purpose of this is to see if your site is providing people for what they are looking for.

Anyway, the other day I noticed that someone from Hong Kong hit my blog. I always am happy to see that people from other countries at least have my blog pop up on their screen (I have no idea how long they stay but at least it crossed their line of sight). I also noticed that they found my sight because they performed a Google search for my name. That's a little unnerving. I do not think I know anyone living in Hong Kong. Who is searching for my name? (Click image to see the entry)

I mean, that is OK. People are allowed to search for whatever they want. But, really, who in Hong Kong knows my name (spelled correctly I might add) and why were they searching for my name? It is just kind of funny, kind of...

If you are the one from Hong Kong searching for me, give me a post here and let me know how I can help you. Unless you mean me harm...then post on Mark's blog.
